I am married to Heather. We have lived in Ashton forthe last 5 years. Previously, we lived in Nailsea for 28years, and brought up our 3 children(who are all in their 30s) there. We have 2 grandsons, who live with our daughter - also in Nailsea. I haverecently retired as a partner in a top 100 firm of solicitors.
I have always been interested in education and some years ago was a governor at Ravenswood School in Nailsea. More recently, I taught a CILex evening course at Weston College. Having retired, I am keen to put something back into the local community. My interests include music and singing (I am a member of Bath Male Choir); Sailing and anything to do with the sea; Rugby - not playing any more, but a keen follower of Wales, Bristol Bears and Nailsea and Backwell under 11s and under 9s; I am an omnivorous reader and a keen cook and baker. -
